UDL Technology Toolkit

Across the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) technology toolkit website, an educator can find many tools to use with their classrooms.  The websites and technology are mostly free, which is fantastic news to school districts’ and teachers’ budgets. They are all separated into types of help, which makes it easy to navigate.  We can easily implement the technology with our students who need it.  Not every student is the same and that means we must find a method or tool that assists students. Students can learn better through audio, visuals, videos, or written learning.  It was interesting to see and use a few of these tools.  I could definitely use many of these with future students with learning disabilities. I understand all the new technology is useful but I do not know if they can always assist with every problem that arises.  Classrooms always have surprises and not every student is going have the same issues.
