Assistive Technology & Math

Assistive technology can be used in a variety of content areas to help students with disabilities excel and understand the information.  Students need different types of assistive depending on the content area.  Previously I discussed reading and writing skills with applications and assistive technology.  Math is another content area that requires assistive technology of a different kind.  Sometimes seeing the information in a larger scale or even in spatial terms help to understand the concept taught.  The following writings will discuss math and assistive technology with regards to my findings on the applications and technology available.
