Assistive technology can be used to help students with disabilities learn skills more easily and without roadblocks. There are certain aspects of an application that are important to whether it will be helpful or not. Above is the table from chapter 5 that best answers this question. It allows teachers to look at an easy checklist to understand or decide if the kinds of educational applications you have in mind are best for your students. The items need to be accessible. It also must have levels of difficulty, pace,and feedback. the feedback should help with error correction. These will help in deciding whether to use specific applications presented.
