Welcome

Hello all.  I am a graduate student finishing up my masters this semester.  I just received my certification in secondary education of Social Studies. I am in this class to finish my masters because it was required.  This class will help in using technology with special education.  I have used iPads in my classes to help with explaining concepts as well as visual assistance in order for students to have a frame of reference.  iPads are a useful assistive technology that can be used in a variety of ways with students.  This course hopefully will teach other types of assistive technology for me to use in the future in my classrooms.
